    • 8 -- TOWNSHIP ELECTION DAY for Towns with March Elections: - 2nd Tuesday in March. Minn. Stat. §205.075, subd. 1.
      No public meetings or school events between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on a day when an election is held within the townships boundaries. Minn. Stat. §204C.03.
    • 11 -- The Secretary of State will publicly announce the official state precinct caucus date for the following general election year - March of each odd-numbered year. Minn. Stat. §202A.14, subd 1 --

    • 9 -- PRIMARY ELECTION DAY
      No public meetings or school events may be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. - on a day that an election is held within the township boundaries. Minn.Stat. §204C.03, subd. 1
    November, 2011
    • 8 -- GENERAL ELECTION DAY
      Offices that may be on general election ballots are City Officers, School Board Members, Township Officers, and County Commissioners.

    • 7 -- PRECINCT CAUCUSES (Tentative) [The statutorily provided date for precinct caucus is the first Tuesday in February. However, the chairs of the two largest major parties may agree, no later than March 1 in the prior year, on a different date. (Minnesota Statutes 202A.14)]
